Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team, responsible for placing calls to provider offices to obtain missing medical documentation. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing outbound telephone calls and/or other means of contact with healthcare facilities to retrieve medical records via various methods
  • Effectively communicating with team members and external providers to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Completing additional tasks as required to support our division

Key Responsibilities

* Perform outbound telephone calls and/or other means of contact with each facility to complete the retrieval of medical records via fax, mail, remote electronic medical record access, or by scheduling a visit at the provider location

  • Effectively communicate with team members and external providers to ensure adherence with challenging project timelines
  • Complete additional tasks as required to support our division, such as data entry, reporting, and quality assurance

Customer Service Representatives Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of call center experience within the healthcare/medical field (desired)
  • Strong ability to handle fast-paced training programs and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to type 40 WPM with high accuracy
  • Familiarity with medical terminology (a plus)
  • Your own work equipment, including a PC/Laptop, mouse, and headset, to work 100% remotely
  • Proficiency in Google Chrome and ability to navigate multiple tabs

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and healthcare industry standards (a plus)
