Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialists to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our revenue operations department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of revenue operations, from medical insurance collections to credits, and patient insurance coverage. Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Perform duties related to revenue operations, including medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to payer communications, ensuring seamless processes across teams.
  • Collaborate with other revenue operations teams to identify process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements.
  • Partner with clinics teammates, including insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience required
  • Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required
  • Data Entry experience filling out online forms
  • Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals
  • Proper claim accounting knowledge is a big plus
  • Medical billing or accounting experience is a big plus

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle or medical billing
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
  • Certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CMC)
