Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Contact Center Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to inbound customer calls across our product lines, providing expert advice and guidance to help customers make informed decisions about their financial futures
  • Building relationships with customers, agents, and beneficiaries, and providing exceptional service to meet their needs
  • Educating customers about our product features and plan concepts, and helping them understand the benefits of our financial solutions
  • Assessing customer needs and providing service resolution, using your problem-solving skills to find creative solutions
  • Tracking and gathering information, using your analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Working under immediate supervision, and relying on standard work and pre-established guidelines to perform your functions and provide a basis for creative problem-solving
  • Handling a wide scope of knowledge, as you'll be working with various product lines and customer needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • A Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a bonus, but not required
  • A passion for customer service, and the ability to engage with customers, build rapport, share and inform, and handle objections as they come up
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions, including mouse and keyboard usage, launching applications, and navigating multiple systems
  • Strong learning agility, flexibility, and adaptability to learning new things and applying that learning to perform successfully in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
  • Availability to work any shift within our Monday through Friday operating hours of 7:30 am – 10 pm EST
  • Bi-lingual opportunities, with a $3,000 pay differential (let us know if you're bi-lingual!)

Compensation and Perks
