Job Summary
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers and driving sales growth through effective sales techniques. You'll work closely with our Department Supervisors and other associates to ensure a seamless customer experience and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance
- Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
- Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
- Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards
- Work in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates in your department and other departments
- Participate in sales promotions and events to drive sales growth
- Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide expert advice to customers
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role
- Knowledge of building materials, décor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen & bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products
- Experience with sales software and technology
- Certification in customer service or sales
