Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer interaction is a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that showcases our products and services, and ensures a safe and secure shopping experience for customers.
  • Assisting with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are accurately displayed and easily accessible to customers.
  • Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using our POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, and taking proactive steps to prevent and respond to any potential issues.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and retail operations.
  • The ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.
  • The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • The ability to work flexible, full-time schedules to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
