Experienced Assembly/Customer Service Representative – Multifaceted Support and Inventory Coordination

We're now seeking an experienced Assembly/Customer Service Representative to join our team at our facility in Roseville, MN. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supervising and coordinating product quality processes, emphasizing customer service and inventory management. Primary Function:

As an Assembly/Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our products and services to our customers. Your primary function will involve:

  • Providing exceptional customer support for all X-Pert hardware and software via telephone, occasionally visiting customer locations to resolve issues.
  • Recording all customer communication by documenting customer name, status, problem, and procedures taken within SalesForce.
  • Processing appropriate forms for repair orders, invoices, and requests, obtaining approval when necessary.
  • Following up with customers and vendors on unresolved issues and outstanding loaner equipment/returns.
  • Preparing and shipping customer orders and repair orders within agreed deadlines.
  • Performing hardware repair/refurbishments on all products distributed, returning defective parts to vendors under warranty.
  • Responsible for purchasing parts and supplies, maintaining adequate inventory of resale and spare parts.
  • Maintaining X-Pert drawings, parts/material spreadsheets, and lid/can library.
  • Maintaining X-Pert slide machine and slide inventory to ensure lids can be produced per agreed deadlines.
  • Assisting X-Pert Engineers and Programmers on product development, product testing, and troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Performing miscellaneous duties as directed.

Key Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Prefer formal training in computers from vocational school or college.
  • 1-2 years of experience in computer support with telephone support preferred, including experience in configuring a variety of PC hardware and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic PC hardware maintenance.
  • Knowledge of a variety of personal computers, software packages, and related hardware/software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to exert up to 70 pounds of force to lift and move materials.

  • Ability to stoop, crouch, reach, lift, walk, and grasp to move materials.
