As a Clinical Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a high-volume call center team, working closely with our members to address their inquiries and concerns.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our call center, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a remote opportunity, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home with our company-provided technology equipment.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner
  • Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log
  • Look up member information using proprietary arenaflex systems and provide information to the caller
  • Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department
  • Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue (claims, authorizations, etc.)
  • Utilize appropriate resources, including those online, to provide timely responses
  • Manage time to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow-up is done in a timely manner
  • Meet or exceed minimum key job accountabilities established for the Clinical Customer Service Representative position
  • Document all calls appropriately
  • Attend weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel
  • Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of experience performing customer service duties; inbound call center experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time
  • Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters

Mobility and Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to speak, see, and hear other personnel and/or objects
  • Ability to communicate both in oral and written form
  • Ability to travel within the facility (not applicable for remote workers)
  • Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs

Environmental Conditions

As a remote worker, you'll be working from home in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. You'll need to have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum internet download of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed).

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience. Full-time and part-time regular employees will start at $15/hour with potential for $16/hour within the first year, plus merit. Additional bonus opportunities will be based on meeting Key Job Accountabilities (KJA) after 6, 12, and 24 months. Seasonal workers and temporary employees will start at $15/hour.
