Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and contributing to the overall success of our stores. You'll work closely with our team to maintain a clean, well-stocked store, assist with transactions, and provide support to customers with their queries.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience
  • Help with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
  • Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store
  • Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system
  • Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation

Position Requirements

* Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned

  • Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Skills and Competencies: Customer Focus, Developing Potential, Results Driven, Strong Organizational Skills, Communication Skills, Problem Solving/Decision Making, Job Knowledge, and Relationship Management

Safety and Health Protocols

At arenaflex, we prioritize the health and safety of our team members and customers. We've implemented enhanced protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment, including:

  • Plexiglass guards at cash registers
  • Associates conducting home health screenings two hours prior to their shift
  • Managers conducting in-store health screenings of each associate prior to shift
  • Cleaning protocols that include hand sanitizer and supplies to clean throughout the day
  • Social Distancing by maintaining at least six feet between yourself and shoppers
  • Face masks and gloves for Associates to wear during their shifts
