Role Overview

As a Customer Service Representative on our State Farm team, you'll be responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service to our clients. This includes responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. You'll also use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and promote State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Use a customer-focused approach to educate customers about insurance options and promote State Farm products
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and policy information
  • Collaborate with the State Farm team to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on insurance products and services
  • Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent
  • Make presentations to potential customers to promote State Farm products and services
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals

Essential Qualifications

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Enthusiasm for the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risk and achieve their goals
  • People-oriented and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and commitment to success
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving
  • Dedicated to customer service and committed to delivering exceptional experiences
  • Ability to work in a team environment and make presentations to potential customers
  • Bilingual - Spanish preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance industry

  • Familiarity with State Farm products and services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
