Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Connecting directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription orders, resolve customer issues, and explain order requests
- Examining and resolving issues to determine proper solutions for clients and center partners, and following up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
- Completing accurate data entry of prescriptions into blithequark's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners
- Working with an eagerness to learn and grow, and being open to feedback and development opportunities
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (and other channels as needed) with various topics, primarily using our internal software and systems to explore solutions and record center note accounts
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to be spent on outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience working in a customer or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., talking on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and stand out to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (where applicable)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change as per the business needs of the organization
- Flexibility to adjust schedule and stay at work longer than required depending on the situation by the specialty unit
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive data
- Ability to pass a background check
