Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent (Customer Service Representative) at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to all passengers and guests at the San Francisco International Airport location
  • Handling all aspects of aircraft ground operations, including loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail
  • Working efficiently and accurately to ensure timely departure of flights
  • Communicating effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate and execute aircraft turnarounds
  • Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Handling and resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting passengers with special needs or requests, including wheelchair assistance and special accommodations
  • Operating ground service equipment, such as baggage carts, tugs, and belt loaders, in a safe and responsible manner
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the ramp area, baggage and cargo handling facilities, and equipment
  • Adhering to all company policies and regulations, as well as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines
  • Attending and participating in all required training and meetings
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Qualifications

To be successful as a Ramp Agent (Customer Service Representative) at blithequark, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
