Job Summary
As a Virtual Assistant in our Physician Assistant role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and evidence-based care to our patients, including precise evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions. You will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks, such as opening and closing the clinic, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive and evidence-based care to patients, including precise evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions
- Perform administrative tasks, such as opening and closing the clinic, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate records
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
* Graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current Public Board Accreditation and Territory of Business permit to practice in the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse role
- Or in select states, an Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other healthcare-related graduate degree or equivalent experience along with Four-year education in science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current Public Board Accreditation and Province of Work permit to practice in the job
- At least two years of clinically relevant experience or equivalent
- Completion of the Spock certification test within 30 days of employment
- Ability to speak and write in multiple languages, including but not limited to Spanish (dependent on market)
- Essential Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing mouth-to-mouth and operating a Mechanical External Defibrillator (AED)
- Pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when required
Preferred Qualifications
* Earlier student precepting experience with blithequark is preferred, but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
