Job Summary
As a part-time Chat Moderator at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community. You'll be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules. This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time, as long as you have a stable internet connection.
Key Responsibilities
As a Chat Moderator at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules
- Deleting messages made by users that violate our rules
- Banning users who have multiple and repeat violations of our rules
- Muting users who have violated our rules
- Investigating reports made by users about violations of our rules
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and rules
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our community members
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in online community management and conflict resolution
Qualifications
To be successful as a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years old
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Familiarity with Discord and online community management platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
