Job title: Online Latin Teacher - Part Time Company: Dwight School Job description: Online Latin Teacher (Part-Time) Position Overview Recently named the #2 best online high school in the United States by Newsweek Magazine, Dwight Global Online School is seeking an experienced and innovative High School/Middle School Latin Teacher to design and teach virtual classes. The ideal candidate is a flexible and innovative team player with a gift for igniting the spark of genius in online students around the world. Though this position is remote, and the teacher may be located anywhere, the teacher should be available to teach synchronous classes during morning and/or afternoon Eastern Time. The classes will start in August 2023, but summer preparation is required starting in June 2023.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or Graduate degree in Latin/Classical Studies, Education/Pedagogy, Linguistics, or a related field preferred
- At least three years of experience teaching middle and/or high school level learners
- Advanced or expert proficiency in Latin
- Experience working, teaching, and collaborating online preferred
