We are seeking an experienced and skilled Agile Project Manager to join our team in driving the digital transformation of the State of Connecticut. As a key member of our cross-functional project team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality digital products and services that improve the online experience for our residents, businesses, and employees.

About the Role

The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end digital product lifecycle, developing new processes and methodologies, and managing project scope, schedule, and status. You will work closely with the Digital Product Manager, stakeholders, and team members to ensure timely delivery of value, identify and mitigate risks, and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and status reports
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Support the Product Owner in managing expectations and stakeholder communications
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and working sessions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products and services
  • Establish and maintain effective project governance, risk management, and quality assurance processes

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in project planning and management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with user-centered design, user research, and analytics
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management platforms, such as Salesforce
  • Experience with web content management platforms, such as Sitecore
  • Management or supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
