We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to play a pivotal role in driving scientific advancements within our Ability Procurement (TA) space. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fundamental revamp of our data capabilities, from data ingestion to complex business transformations and client-facing reporting.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and expanding data solutions to benefit our users. This includes analyzing and testing innovative ideas, communicating successes, and ensuring data consistency.

The ideal candidate is a resourceful Information Researcher with a passion for sourcing, cleaning, and refining business data pipelines. You will continuously seek ways to streamline data processes, stay current with data warehousing trends, and manage multiple, related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to define business processes and provide scientific support.
  • Develop code to analyze complex datasets, create and evaluate data transformations to solve specific business problems.
  • Build scalable, efficient, and automated data processes to support client-facing reporting.
  • Automate TA processes to optimize business operations.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to business clients and stakeholders through verbal and written presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), programming languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling techniques and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to apply statistical models in a practical setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Experience in a Machine Learning or Data Scientist role within a large technology organization.
