About the Role

As an iOS Home Video Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure video processing and streaming solutions for HomeKit-enabled devices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences
• Optimizing application performance, ensuring fast live video start and rapid access to recorded video clips
• Working with various video codecs, compression algorithms, and streaming protocols to ensure high-quality video transmission and reception
• Developing and maintaining software architectures, frameworks, and tools to support the growth of the Home ecosystem

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on video processing, streaming, and security
• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and relevant development tools and frameworks
• Excellent understanding of video codecs, compression algorithms, and streaming protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
