Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Data Strategy, Reporting & Analysis Specialist and drive business growth through data-driven insights! We're seeking a skilled professional to work cross-functionally, providing reporting and analytics capabilities to key stakeholders. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with leadership to streamline processes, improve data/analytic capabilities, and provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders.

As a Data Strategy, Reporting & Analysis Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Support the team in identifying data needs and developing solutions to source, consume, and store data for various departments
  • Become familiar with Revenue Accounting vernacular, systems, and processes to extract and analyze data
  • Leverage tools like SAS, Alteryx, Teradata Studio, Python, and TOAD to build and organize data, and utilize data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau to support internal and external consumers of Revenue Accounting information
  • Prepare and analyze operational and transactional accounting data, variance analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Work with cross-department and cross-divisional teams on process development/improvement to drive efficiencies and high-volume data-mining/analysis
  • Be intellectually curious, ask questions, and communicate ideas for improvement
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
  • 3 years of work experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative fields
  • Previous experience identifying, cleaning, and structuring new data sources
  • Comfort working in group and individual settings
  • Experience with some or all of the following: Hyperion, SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, or other database interface tools; creating datasets, database querying, and report development
  • Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Consistently prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Preferred qualifications include:

  • BA/BS or advanced degree in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance
  • Working knowledge of airlines, Delta, Revenue Accounting/Revenue Pipeline tools and data
  • Capable of managing multiple projects with limited supervision and making well-informed priority tradeoffs
  • Ability to work well with diverse groups in a time-sensitive environment with limited supervision
  • Results-oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines with attention to detail and follow-through
