Job Description

As a Product Designer at Meta, you will be responsible for identifying problems and opportunities, driving impact beyond the organization, and mentoring individuals and teams. You will utilize your expertise in various aspects of design to elevate our products and teams, and champion projects you're passionate about.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and opportunities that aren't easily found by others and address them with minimal direction
• Drive impact that goes beyond the organization, transforming the wider design and product industry
• Mentor individuals and teams, developing others around you
• Utilize your expertise in various components of design to elevate our products and teams
• Champion projects you're passionate about and help teams get started on them
• Help shape organization or process decisions, providing regular guidance to design leadership
• Tutor designers in the team, assisting them to solve problems in complex product spaces

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building and delivering applications or software at organization-level scale
• 2+ years of collaboration design experience with knowledge of how to define and proselytize how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
• 2+ years of visual design experience with expertise in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense
• 2+ years of strategic product thinking with experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities in a global market, and making decisions based on the impact on people and the organization
• Experience presenting work to senior leaders, clearly and concisely articulating goals and ideas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience demonstrating your end-to-end design process across multiple projects, incorporating collaboration and visual design artifacts, various prototypes, high-fidelity models, and consideration of the impact and scope of work
• Experience connecting your work to other industry-leading related initiatives across the organization while driving collaboration
