Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver effective lessons that engage students and promote academic achievement
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Maintain a safe, attractive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and inquiry
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education

Requirements:

• Texas State Teacher's Certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained Teacher
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in grade level or content area
• Experience with classical education or traditional teaching methods (preferred)
