We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Educational Aid to support the educational activities at Pierce Terrace Elementary School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. As an Educational Aid, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to teachers and students, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Distribute and collect testing materials as needed by students
• Grade and provide testing results using identified scoring techniques
• Monitor students during various phases of the school day
• Prepare instructional materials related to classroom lessons
• Provide tutoring to students in all subject areas
• Accompany and supervise students on field trips

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required
• 2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school or 1 year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work experience
• Ability to acquire knowledge and skills needed to perform duties of an Educational Aid
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement
• Direct deposit of pay is required
• Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation

Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $15.21 - $26.06 per hour
