University of Central Florida Co-Op: 5G Engineering - Radio Frequency

Join the V Team at Verizon and embark on a 6-month Co-Op journey as part of our Campus Program, where you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects and develop your skills in 5G technology, NFV, and radio frequency engineering. As a Co-Op with our 5G Engineering team, you'll be working on projects that enhance our network quality, resolve real-world problems, and provide solutions to technical issues associated with radio frequency engineering products.

In this role, you'll have the chance to work on a variety of projects, including:

• Enhancing your skills in 5G technology and NFV
• Using network analysis equipment to ensure network quality and regulatory standards
• Resolving real-world problems and customer issues through identification, triage, and troubleshooting
• Providing solutions to technical issues associated with radio frequency engineering products
• Performing analysis and project management activities to identify new network towers and small cell locations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cost-effective solutions for our wireless network

To be considered for this Co-Op position, you must be currently enrolled in a qualifying bachelor's degree program at the University of Central Florida and be in good academic standing. You should also have:

• Ability to participate in our 6-month Co-Op program from July 21, 2025 to December 12, 2025, working a full-time schedule
• Current enrollment at University of Central Florida in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Telecommunications, Wireless Technologies, High-Frequency Design, Artificial Intelligence, or a related major
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
• Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office

We're looking for motivated self-starters who are always trying to perform at their personal best, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are flexible, dependable, and work well in varying environments. If you have previous internship or Co-Op experience, completed coursework in calculus, physics, and/or probability/statistics, or experience with data analytics, data science, and computer programming, that's a plus!
