Remote Medical Benefits Specialist - $17/hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Medical Benefits Specialist to join our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client's healthcare team. As a Remote Medical Benefits Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the care they need by processing prior authorization requests, verifying insurance coverage, and collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and track prior authorization requests via inbound and outbound calls
• Verify patients' medical insurance eligibility and coverage
• Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate of $17/hour
• Full-time position with weekly pay and benefits
• Flexible schedule: 8am-8pm CST, Monday-Friday (8-hour shift between these hours)
• Equipment provided (must be able to pick up equipment in Irving, TX)
• Opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of medical benefits experience (no exceptions)
• Ability to pick up equipment in Irving, TX
• Call center experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
• Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication abilities
