Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and educators to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development activities, and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with diverse populations and across various settings (e.g., pediatric, adult, school-based, outpatient).
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and evidence-based care.
