About the Role

As a Senior Counsel, Privacy, you will:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive privacy framework that ensures compliance with domestic and international privacy laws and best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy into the design of new products, features, and business initiatives.
• Provide expert advice to product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to mitigate legal risks and advance business goals.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure that data protection provisions are incorporated into vendor, partner, and merchant agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date internal and external privacy policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A J.D. degree and admission to any state bar.
• 8+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, with a focus on privacy and data protection issues.
• Familiarity with global privacy frameworks and advising on privacy issues.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• A proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

What We Offer
