As a Senior Contracts Officer, you'll play a critical role in providing overall coordination of personal/professional contracting activities and intergovernmental agreements, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal policies, regulations, and laws.

About the Role

• Provide coordination of personal/professional contracting activities and intergovernmental agreements
• Manage a high-volume caseload of new contracts, agreements, and amendments in a high-risk environment
• Work closely with the other job share partner to share a caseload of different procurement projects and other projects
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the necessary services are obtained in a manner that complies with all applicable state and federal policies, regulations, and laws

Requirements

• Five years of procurement and contract experience related to the position
• OR a bachelor's degree and two years of professional-level procurement and contract experience related to the position
• OR any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of procurement and contract experience related to the position
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• Experience with government procurement processes and professional experience researching and applying appropriate government procurement laws, rules, policies, and procedures
