What You’ll Do:

Foxen is looking for a Technical Team Lead that wants to work with significant autonomy in a small, entrepreneurial team. You’ll have the opportunity to solve interesting problems to provide streamlined and efficient financial service solutions to our customers. In this role, you’ll guide and support developers, help shape the design and architecture of new products and systems, and serve as a trusted technical resource for software best practices and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
  • Drive the design and architecture of software solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert for software technologies and practices
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices
  • Oversee code reviews, testing processes, and deployment pipelines
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements
  • Coordinate tasks among team members and foster a collaborative development environment
  • Resolve technical blockers and conflicts within the team
  • Develop high-level system architecture and detailed design documents
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software solutions
  • Write, debug, and optimize high-quality code as needed
  • Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders and clients
  • What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field/experience
  • 7+ yearsrelevant programming experience
  • 2+ years leading software development teams
  • Strongknowledge of OOP and reusable codingpractices
  • Experience withserverless environments, microservices, andRESTful APIs
  • Full-stack expertise in multiple tiers of modern web applications
  • Experienced using practices such as unit testing, integration testing, proper code documentation, and appropriate loggingto develophighly maintainable and reliable code
  • Understanding of scrum, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps
  • Preferred: strong background in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) as part of the development process
