What You Can Look Forward To:

Energy Recovery is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full time job opening for the position of Quality Technician, located in San Leandro, CA. This position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor, and will be responsible for ensuring product and processes meet quality standards through auditing, inspections, and record keeping.

What Will You Do?

  • Conduct production floor audits and provide feedback on non-conformances
  • Assist with RMA dispositions with the assistance of Quality Supervisor
  • Lead daily cross-functional Material Review Board meetings
  • Support inspection for Production and Quality as needed
  • All other projects and duties as assigned
  • What You Bring to the Table

  • Education: Associates degree or higher in business administration. BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Production Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience within light to heavy manufacturing environments such as the automotive industry.
  • Data Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with a focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: A deep commitment to enhancing both quality and cost performance in a production setting.
  • Leadership & Organizational Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.

  • The below range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The salary range for this role is $20 to $31.50/Hour.
