Remote Intervention Specialist – Virtual Special Education Expert (Full-Time, Ohio) Job Description: Soliant's virtual team is seeking a skilled and dedicated Virtual Intervention Specialist to join our team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work from home while providing specialized support to students with diverse learning needs across Ohio. The successful candidate will create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), provide virtual instruction, and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success in an online learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. • Provide virtual direct instruction in small group or one-on-one settings using teletherapy platforms. • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to modify curriculum and ensure accommodations are met. • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary. • Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student development. • Ensure compliance with all Ohio state and federal special education laws, including IDEA and Section 504. • Utilize technology to engage students in a virtual classroom setting and foster an inclusive online learning environment. Qualifications: • Education: Master’s degree in Special Education or related field. • Certification: Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (K-12). • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist (virtual experience preferred). • Strong understanding of virtual instructional strategies and familiarity with teletherapy tools. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
