Position... Overview We are seeking experienced Database Administrators (DBAs) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for seasoned DBAs looking for flexible working hours while still engaging in challenging and rewarding work. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and integrity of our database environments. Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure secure and efficient operation. - Perform troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution for database issues. - Implement and manage database security measures. - Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization activities. - Assist in database design, development, and deployment processes. - Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Database Administrator for Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle databases. - Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. - Familiarity with database software, and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work flexibly in a part-time capacity.
