We currently have a 100% remote AWS Business Analyst position available. Candidates must have extensie experience within AWS and have at least one AWS Certification as well as extensive Agile experience within requirements gathering and being a member of a scrum meeting that is doing daily standups. Please make sure you’re recruiting senior candidates. These candidates need to be a senior Business Analyst with strong requirements gathering, experience being a member of scrum teams/daily standups as well as have extensive AWS. We cannot accept candidates with AWS exposure or candidates who have expired AWS certifications. This interview is extensively on the AWS. Manager is requiring at least 5 years of AWS and need to have at least one active AWS certification(s). This candidate will be working with engineers and developers so them being able to speak the AWS terminology is required. Interview involves asking how do you deploy AWS applications? What have you done with lambda? What are the different types of AWS platforms? How do you gather requirements? Duration: 12 month+ contract Location: 100% remote Role: AWS Cloud Business Analyst Description: Best Western is looking for a Business Analyst with extensive AWS experience to join their CPE (cloud platform engineering team) which supports Agile Cloud/Infrastructure teams to deliver product value to business partners. Must have strong requirements gathering, agile and at least one AWS certification- certification must be active and not expired. Central AWS cloud infrastructure Domain knowledge Will participate in the daily standup, gather requirements and other initiatives from other product teams as well This team does more backend work and works with technical SME’s.

• Facilitate effective communication among team members to collaboratively develop comprehensive technical requirements.
• Ensure project alignment with overarching organizational goals and business benefits, thereby enhancing strategic coherence and value delivery.
• Demonstrate strong leadership by managing, delivering, and communicating cross-functional initiatives across multiple product teams.
• Elicit and evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into detailed insights.
• Distinguish user requests from underlying needs and solution ideas from requests.
• Understand the impact of policies, systems, and processes on requests/projects.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail during meetings, diligently documenting and following up on action items from DSUs (daily standups)
• Cultivate strong client relationships by engaging in clear, consistent, and strategic communication with business partners and stakeholders.
• Protect the company by handling sensitive business information with appropriate confidentiality.
