Healthcare Consultant - Emergency Management, Workplace Violence Prevention & De-escalation Training

We are currently expanding our cadre of talented consultants to support an exciting project with a major healthcare system. The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced consultants with expertise in healthcare emergency management and workplace violence prevention and response. This project involves supporting a major healthcare system, and we have opportunities for both remote work on online project components and in-person training delivery in Houston, Texas. We are specifically looking for individuals with a strong background in developing and delivering de-escalation training in both in-person and virtual formats. This is a project-based position--not FT or PT.

Responsibilities

May Include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise in healthcare emergency management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of workplace violence prevention and response programs within a healthcare setting.
  • Designing and developing comprehensive de-escalation training curricula for healthcare professionals, suitable for both in-person and online/virtual delivery.
  • Facilitating engaging and effective in-person de-escalation training sessions in Houston, TX (for applicable roles).
  • Developing engaging and interactive online/virtual de-escalation training modules and materials.
  • Collaborating with the CH Consulting Group team and client stakeholders to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Contributing to project deliverables, including reports, presentations, and implementation plans.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in healthcare emergency management, workplace violence prevention, and de-escalation techniques.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare emergency management, including planning, preparedness, response, and recovery.
  • Significant experience in developing and implementing workplace violence prevention and response programs within healthcare environments.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering de-escalation training programs for healthcare professionals (both in-person and virtual). Please highlight experience with various online training platforms and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to healthcare emergency management and workplace violence prevention.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • For in-person roles in Houston, TX: Willingness and ability to travel to and conduct training in the Houston metropolitan area.
  • Prior consulting experience is a plus.
