About the position The Community Bank Center Manager at Veritex Community Bank is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the branch by fostering a positive work environment and delivering exceptional banking services to customers. This role involves managing both sales and operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and developing community relationships to enhance the bank's presence in the local market. Responsibilities • Acquire new and expand existing consumer and small business banking relationships. , • Manage day-to-day operations of the branch. , • Educate the office team on products, services, technology, and policies. , • Implement business and sales plans, ensuring team alignment with goals. , • Foster and develop community relationships. , • Ensure compliance with bank security practices and regulatory requirements. , • Coach and develop team members, including managing work schedules and employee-related activities. Requirements • Experience managing both a sales and operations team preferred. , • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individuals and teams to high achievement. , • Banking experience and community involvement in the local market helpful. , • Excellent customer service skills and behaviors; highly motivated, focused, and goal-oriented. , • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor. , • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. , • Ability to multi-task effectively. , • PC and internet proficiency. , • 2 years of retail banking or related experience in a financial service industry required. , • Proven track record of successful service and sales performance. , • High school graduate or equivalent required. , • Strong knowledge of competition and product knowledge needed.
