Clinical / Biomedical Imaging Engineering Manager

Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage a team of Biomedical Imaging Engineers, ensuring efficient daily service and repair of designated Imaging equipment across multiple modalities. • Develop and implement strategic plans for equipment maintenance, upgrades, and replacements. • Collaborate with hospital administration, department heads, and vendors to ensure optimal equipment performance and clinical availability. • Manage budget for the department, including equipment purchases, maintenance costs, and staffing. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency and service quality. • Develop and implement training programs for staff on new technologies and procedures. • Analyze department performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement. • Serve as a liaison between the engineering team, clinical staff, and hospital administration. • Stay current with emerging technologies in medical imaging and evaluate their potential implementation. • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts. • Oversee the maintenance of accurate equipment records and documentation. • Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development of team members. • Participate in hospital-wide committees related to medical technology and patient care improvement. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) • 5-7 years of experience in biomedical imaging, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role • Strong technical background in multiple Medical Imaging disciplines • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Apply Job!
