Job Description:
The Expedited Freight Driver is responsible for delivering critical shipments quickly and efficiently to our clients. This position will serve as an essential part of our operations, ensuring that we uphold our reputation for reliable and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
– Safe operation of commercial vehicles in all weather conditions
– Pick up and delivery of freight to designated locations
– Load and unload freight as necessary
– Accurately complete paperwork and maintain detailed records
– Timely reporting of any accidents or incidents
– Comply with all company safety standards and federal regulations
Requirements:
– Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
– 2+ years of previous experience as a commercial driver
– Clean driving record
– Ability to pass a background check and drug test
– Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
– Superior customer service skills
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of a reputable truck driving school or program is preferred
