Position Overview – Remote Medicaid Customer Service Representative (Nevada)

We are seeking enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individuals who reside in Nevada to become the voice of arenaflex for Medicaid customers. In this full‑time, remote role, you will handle inbound and outbound interactions, resolve member inquiries, and ensure a seamless experience for those navigating complex health‑care benefits. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial, emotional, mental, and physical well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, accurate, and timely assistance to Medicaid members via phone, chat, or email.
  • Identify and resolve member concerns related to eligibility, coverage, claims, and service utilization.
  • Document every interaction in the arenaflex CRM system, ensuring compliance with auditing and reporting standards.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date member records, verifying personal information and updating contact details as needed.
  • Proactively recommend additional services or program enhancements that align with the member’s needs, contributing to upsell goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including claims, billing, and technical support—to expedite resolutions and improve overall member satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, role‑plays, and quality‑assurance reviews to continuously sharpen communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Adhere to all privacy, security, and compliance regulations governing health‑care information, including HIPAA guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience (call‑center, retail, or hospitality) is a strong plus.
  • Proficient navigation of computer systems; comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, with a clear, empathetic speaking style.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to comprehend complex policy information quickly.
  • Professional demeanor, courteous attitude, and a genuine desire to help members succeed.
  • Reliable high‑speed broadband internet (minimum 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload) and a dedicated, private workspace.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Previous experience in health‑care, insurance, or Medicaid program support.
  • Familiarity with electronic health‑record (EHR) platforms or member management systems.
  • Certification in customer service excellence (e.g., Certified Customer Service Professional).
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy under a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions rather than just answers.
  • Basic knowledge of Nevada state Medicaid regulations and eligibility criteria.

Work Environment & Equipment

As a remote employee of arenaflex, you will work from a private residence that meets our security and privacy standards. arenaflex supplies all necessary hardware—including a headset, webcam, and secure computer software—to ensure a professional and compliant work setup. You are responsible for providing a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free environment that meets the minimum speed requirements.

Physical Demands

  • Predominantly sedentary work, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Occasional lifting of equipment up to 10 lbs (e.g., headset or laptop).

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks

  • Base Pay: $16 per hour, paid on a weekly or daily basis according to your preference.
  • Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans with Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
  • Professional Development: Access to leadership programs, paid training, tuition reimbursement, and certification assistance.
  • Employee Discounts: Savings on groceries, travel, insurance, phone plans, wellness products, and pet supplies.
