Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Greeting and Assisting Passengers: Welcome travelers as they enter the ticketing area, offering a courteous and professional first impression.
  • Kiosk Support: Guide customers through self‑service kiosk check‑in, baggage tagging, and receipt printing; load paper, clean screens, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting Technology: Identify and resolve kiosk errors, escalating complex issues to the IT department when necessary.
  • Compliance Checks: Verify that carry‑on baggage meets FAA and arenaflex policies; confirm travel documents (passports, visas) using the Timatic database.
  • Checked Baggage Processing: Assist with credit‑card transactions, self‑tagging, weight verification, and activation of self‑tagged baggage.
  • Queue Management: Organize ticket counter lines based on departure times, special assistance needs, and overall passenger flow to minimize wait times.
  • Oversized and Special Items: Help passengers with sporting equipment, assistive devices, and other oversized items, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Customer Referrals: Direct complex inquiries to dedicated customer service agents when appropriate.
  • Mobility Assistance: Support non‑ambulatory travelers, unaccompanied minors, and passengers with special needs throughout the terminal.
  • Gate Information & Paging: Provide accurate gate directions, announce forgotten items, and assist with any paging requirements.

  • Eligibility to obtain FAA criminal background clearance for unescorted access to secure airport areas.
