[Remote] National Account Manager - Lowe's Pro

The National Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for pressure-treated wood products, while ensuring excellent communication and service with retail partners.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national retail accounts, ensuring consistent communication, service, and execution
- Lead strategic growth initiatives for targeted product categories, with emphasis on pressure-treated wood and ProWood distribution items
- Develop and execute account-specific business plans to achieve revenue, profit, and volume targets
- Drive penetration of new products and services into existing retail accounts
- Participate in product line reviews, gathering competitive insights and market feedback to inform pricing, product development, and merchandising strategies
- Attend and lead meetings with national retail accounts to present opportunities, review performance, and strengthen partnerships
- Collaborate with National Service Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Customer Service Representatives to address field requests and implement action plans
- Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Foster relationships with National, Regional and Local Pro Sales Team
- Launch and manage new business programs, merchandising initiatives, and promotional campaigns with retail partners
- Ensure alignment between retail requirements and UFP operational capabilities
- Partner with marketing and product teams to design programs that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
- Manage account assets, including inventory turnover, and aged inventory
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and account updates
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of customer-facing sales or account management experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or building materials
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic account plans
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset
- Ability to travel as needed for account meetings and industry events
