Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Part‑Time Remote Customer Service Representative to join our para‑transit call center team. In this hybrid role, you will split your time between a supportive office environment and a remote workspace, handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling transportation trips, and providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This position offers a flexible schedule, competitive hourly compensation, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with mobility challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and initiate calls: Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing telephone interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Trip scheduling: Accurately book, modify, and confirm transportation appointments for riders, ensuring compliance with service guidelines and timely dispatch.
  • Customer inquiries: Respond to questions regarding service eligibility, trip details, billing, and policy information, providing clear and concise explanations.
  • Customer registration: Assist new riders in completing registration forms, verifying documentation, and entering data into the system.
  • Data integrity: Maintain precise records in the scheduling platform, update rider profiles, and flag any discrepancies for follow‑up.
  • Collaboration with operations: Communicate schedule changes and special requests to drivers and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Problem resolution: Identify and resolve service issues, escalations, or complaints, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
  • Compliance adherence: Follow all federal, state, and arenaflex policies related to privacy, safety, and accessibility.
  • Continuous learning: Participate in ongoing training sessions, webinars, and performance reviews to sharpen skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience in a customer service role, demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year in a call‑center environment, with familiarity in handling high‑call volumes and using CRM or scheduling software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a clear, courteous, and patient phone demeanor.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, especially when entering scheduling data and verifying rider information.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace that meets arenaflex’s remote work standards.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, web‑based applications, and data entry tools.
  • Ability to work a consistent schedule of Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with flexibility to attend in‑office training and occasional on‑site support when remote connectivity is disrupted for more than 30 minutes.
  • Strong punctuality and reliability, reflecting arenaflex’s commitment to dependable service for our riders.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in the transportation, healthcare, or senior services sectors, providing insight into the unique needs of our clientele.
  • Familiarity with accessibility regulations such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related transportation compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with scheduling platforms (e.g., RouteMatch, RidePilot) or similar dispatch software.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a track record of turning challenging situations into satisfactory outcomes.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, such as pursuing certifications in customer service excellence or disability awareness.

Career Growth & Development Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in employee advancement. As a part‑time remote representative, you will have access to:
