They are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to manage a portfolio of key accounts, drive revenue growth through upselling, and strategically position their products and services to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers by becoming their dedicated point of contact
  • Understand their unique business needs and financial objectives
  • Analyze customer usage patterns and needs to identify opportunities for upselling our financial technology solutions
  • Develop and execute tailored upselling strategies
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, features, and updates
  • Articulate the value and benefits of our solutions to customers, aligning them with specific pain points and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with customers to develop strategic plans that align our solutions with their business objectives
  • Provide consultative guidance based on industry best practices
  • Set and achieve upselling targets and revenue goals within your account portfolio
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take proactive measures to ensure consistent growth
  • Act as a conduit for customer feedback within the organization
  • Gather insights and suggestions from customers to inform product development and enhancements
  • Skillfully negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements with existing customers, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and market conditions
  • Leverage this knowledge to refine upselling strategies and maintain a competitive edge

Skills

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within the AP or fintech sector
  • Solid understanding of financial technology products and services
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret customer data and insights
  • Effective negotiation and contract management skills
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills
  • Customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Knowledge of accounting (AR/AP), accounting systems, Credit/Treasury, wealth management
  • Competitive Knowledge of the AP Landscape
