[Remote] Sr. Product Manager — DEWALT Connectivity & Network Solutions
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is a leading global company known for its innovative technology and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to develop the DEWALT Connectivity & Network Strategy, conduct market analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings in the connected tools sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop the DEWALT ConTech Connectivity & Network Strategy with input from Category, Tools Product Management and Sales team members
- Familiarize with industry trends, assess market opportunities, develop connected tools & asset deployment workflows across the different C&I trades, benchmark competitors and perform competitive gap analysis
- Build and execute the connectivity and network product roadmap; Partner with Tools Product Managers to develop end-user-focused product requirements for connected tools and work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and provide guidance on product development
- Directly support new product development (NPD) and connected product derivative (DMOD) program execution for integrated TOOL CONNECT+ programs
- Conduct regular site visits to understand end-user needs and pain points related to connectivity; assist Sales and Customer Success team members in resolving connectivity related issues in the field
- Provide direct input and support for leadership rhythms and presentations, including monthly business reviews (MBR), NPD launch readiness reviews, Connectivity & Network strategy read-outs, etc
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the IoT or connected devices space
- Strong understanding of hardware and embedded software development processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations for connected devices
- Experience with Microsoft 365 productivity and business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
- Comfort on commercial construction sites and experience using power tools
- Master's degree
