[Remote] Accounts Receivable Specialist I REMOTE

They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to manage billing information, identify issues with payers, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures. The role requires effective communication with leadership and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Research payer websites to obtain correct billing information as needed
• Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
• Ensure aged AR is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Ensure Production and Quality metrics are met
• Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of denials
• Remain flexible to ever-changing priorities

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year or more work experience
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Access
• 1 year or more accounts receivable and data entry work experience
