Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our remote team. Responsibilities
As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing full lifecycle customer service and sales, including inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats
- Assisting clients in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products and services to meet their needs
- Responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening, and selecting the best solution in an efficient manner
- Identifying additional needs customers may have and helping them to upgrade products or services
- Maintaining and following strict personal privacy for customer information
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High speed internet access (>15 mbps)
- Aptitude, self-discipline, and tenacity to learn about what it takes to become a licensed insurance associate, including passing the state licensing exam
- Ability to maintain and follow strict personal privacy for customer information
- Strong customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent (more education is better)
- Handy with MS Windows and other computer applications
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Familiarity with insurance products and services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
