Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Discord Moderation

Job Description:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of our online community by enforcing our community guidelines and rules. This is a part-time, remote, and flexible position that offers the perfect opportunity for individuals who value flexibility and want to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

* Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Deleting messages made by users that violate our community guidelines and rules.
• Banning users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules.
• Muting users who have violated our community guidelines and rules.
• Investigating reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules.
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies.
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong understanding of community management principles and practices, with experience in moderating online communities.
• Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
