Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers across various industries
  • Creatively problem-solving to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Quickly assessing customer needs and providing sound solutions
  • Providing a high-level of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
  • Managing multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Basic typing skills and computer literacy
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment

Application and Certification Process

To become an Independent Contractor with arenaflex, you'll need to:

  • Complete an application to join our community, which includes passing a background/credit check
  • Pay a $45 processing fee directly to our vendor
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Complete a W9 form
  • Opportunities that you choose may have additional requirements, including certification specific to a program

Program Metrics Requirements

Some programs may require Independent Contractors to provide services above posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility. These requirements will be clearly outlined in the program details.

Availability

As an Independent Contractor, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule, with opportunities to work in 30-minute blocks. Our clients' call availability will vary, but generally, calls are available daily from 8am to 8pm EST, with some clients offering 24/7 call availability.

Technology Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to meet our basic technology requirements, which include:

  • A reliable computer with internet access
  • A headset or earbuds with a microphone
  • A quiet and distraction-free workspace
  • Familiarity with our proprietary software and systems
