Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier, you'll be responsible for:

- Processing Transactions: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process transactions, handle cash, and manage the cash register.

- Maintaining a Clean and Organized Checkout Area: Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed, and the checkout area is clean and organized.
- Assisting with Merchandising Efforts: Arrange products attractively to encourage purchases and assist with visual merchandising efforts.
- Supervising Junior Staff: Provide guidance on best practices in customer service and sales when supervising junior staff.
- Utilizing Basic Math Skills: Perform accurate cash handling and retail math calculations to ensure seamless transaction processing.
- Communicating Effectively: Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and communicate effectively with customers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous Experience in Retail: Previous experience in a retail environment, particularly in grocery stores, is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS Systems: Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
