Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data entry systems for Southwest Airlines. Key Responsibilities
* Collect and process large, complex datasets to meet non-functional and functional business requirements
- Identify, design, and execute process improvements, including re-designing infrastructure for greater flexibility, improving data delivery, and automating manual processes
- Build required frameworks for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
- Develop scientific tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing valuable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
- Collaborate with partners, including data, design, product, and leadership teams, to address data-related technical issues
- Work with partners, including the leader, product, data, and configuration teams, to support their data system needs while addressing data-related technical issues
- Create or modify hardware and technology to meet client needs
- Perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Chiefs
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related field
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
- Proficiency in AWS and SQL technologies, including Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, and Amazon Glue
- Experience with data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and delivery
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related field
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Certification in data engineering, data science, or related field
