Job Description
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based data analytics and science solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure the success of the team
- Develop and maintain cloud-based data analytics and science solutions using a range of technologies, including ADLS, Purplish blue Databricks, Flash, Purplish blue Neural connection, Universe DB, DBT, and other large data innovations
- Design and implement data models and reporting structures that meet business needs and drive data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and IT experts to develop comprehensive data solutions that meet business objectives
- Develop and maintain documentation for data analytics and science processes, reporting structures, and data models
- Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of data items and reporting solutions by working with stages, data design, and administration groups
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to arenaflex's business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data quality principles and best practices
- Assess and select suitable data analytics and reporting tools to address business needs, leading necessity meetings and partnering closely with stages and foundation groups during the assessment and execution of these tools
Essential Qualifications:
* 15+ years of active experience in data analytics and science jobs
- 5+ years of experience in leadership or senior roles, demonstrating the ability to guide and lead a team
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, such as ADLS, Purplish blue Databricks, Flash, Purplish blue Neural connection, Universe DB, DBT, and other large data innovations
- Advanced skills in data analytics tools, languages, ML, and systems (e.g., Conos, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R)
- Experience working with cloud stages, such as AWS, Purplish blue or Google Cloud, to design and execute adaptable and productive data analytics solutions
- In-depth understanding and practical application of Lakehouse design standards, combining the best of data lakes and data warehouses for efficient and adaptable data management
- High-level SQL skills, with a strong understanding of social databases and business data storage to write complex SQL queries against multiple data sources
- Experience managing high-volume and high-speed data streams, and designing systems that can handle the demands of real-time or near-real-time analysis
- Experience in shaping the essential vision for data analytics and reporting drives within an organization
- Effective management of data analytics projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth, adapt to emerging technologies, and execute industry best practices
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's or Ph.D. in Software engineering, Informatics, Data science, or related technical discipline
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, or supply chain
