Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Live Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to inbound calls and inquiries from customers, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their concerns
- Addressing questions on various issues related to our services, including benefits and resources available to our clients
- Resetting personal identification for callers unable to self-serve in our Interactive Voice Response system
- Gathering information, researching, and resolving inquiries, while documenting customer calls accurately
- Reading and interpreting documents on file, retaining a large amount of information, and communicating effectively with customers
- Escalating calls professionally, when necessary, and providing timely resolution options
- Reviewing customer needs and informing them of services and resources available to them
- Staying alert and responsive, even in high-pressure situations
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use multiple programs
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM
- Ability to work weekends and holidays, as required
- Successful completion of a background check
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Bilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply.
