Key Responsibilities:

As a Remote Live Chat Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to live chat messages on behalf of our clients, providing timely and accurate assistance to their customers
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, resolving issues efficiently, and escalating complex problems to senior team members when necessary
  • Providing product information, answering questions, and offering solutions to customer inquiries
  • Utilizing our proprietary software to access client websites and social media accounts, responding to chat messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including chat transcripts and issue resolutions
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, or business) preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of at least 5 hours per week, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with live chat software and customer service platforms

  • Knowledge of customer service principles, including empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online customer engagement strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
